Human Concerns:

Human Concerns Committee
Human Concerns committee deals with all aspects of the needy; our Soldiers in Iraq, Shalom Center for the hungry, the homeless, the sick, the dying, the hungry, pregnant mothers, the newly born at First Step Shelter, and the unborn. We also participate in the blood drive in June with 5 other north side parishes. Right now we dropped off cards made by the children of St. Peter's school, and flowers for parishioners at nursing homes through out Kenosha. We are gathering presents and food for the families that have been identified by the centers in great need. So they truly can have a food, shelter and a sharing of Christmas. As you can see by the generosity of the people of St. Peter's Church we can make a difference. As Jesus said, "love your neighbor as yourself, feed the hungry, give to the poor, and help the sick.”.
